Subramanya is a telecom research engineer, by profession. The seeds of deep-rooted aspirations of wildlife photography sown at a young age found exposure and reach in the forests of Kabini and Bandipur during adulthood. The fascination for birds and animals has made him wander in search of the jewels of natural world in many different parts of India and the world including Germany, Finland, Bhutan, Brazil, Costa Rica, Kenya, Ecuador, Svalbard and many other countries. A firm believer in using photography as a tool for wildlife conservation, despite being a proponent of controlled wildlife tourism. He strongly believes in the principle of nature having enough for everyone’s need and not for anyone’s greed.
